Today the Kirk is very much alive and is an important hub for the community. In addition to regular monthly services, it is also a favourite venue for weddings and an atmospheric setting for the annual Christmas Eve Carol Service. It is also promoted as a centre for education, heritage and culture - a programme of events, including concerts, open days, art exhibitions, tours, photo-shoots. St Conan’s is one of Argyll’s hidden treasures that must be preserved. The Kirk does not belong to any religious body, nor to a preservation society or national organisation but to a small group of Trustees. Admiration for this “A” listed building is enormous, attracting many visitors from the UK, Europe and worldwide.
