The connections made during this time will continue to be the resource on
which we call at different points in the future.
New appointments and new ways of training are exciting, and I look forward
to letting others know of the work of SEI.’ Speaking of new appointments, we
are delighted to know that Elaine will shortly be moving to serve the
congregation of St John the Evangelist, Forfar, as Rector. The Diocese of St
Andrews, Dunkeld and Dunblane’s gain is Argyll and the Isles’ immense
loss.

SEI Training Fund:
Huge thanks to the Provost and congregation of St Andrew’s Cathedral
(Diocese of Aberdeen and Orkney) for allocating the offering of £897
gathered at the Consecration of Bishop Anne on 1 March to the Fund; to the
Church of the Holy Name, Cumbernauld (Diocese of Glasgow and Galloway)
for the most generous donation following their bring-and-share lunch on
Vocations Sunday, and to St Oswald’s Maybole (Diocese of Glasgow and
Galloway) for the proceeds of their special collection that same Sunday; to
the Revd Sally Gorton for continuing to d onate the fees she receives for
Sunday cover in that diocese; and to the congregation of St Michael and All
Angels Helensburgh (likewise the Diocese of Glasgow and Galloway) for the
kind sum collected at their recent ‘stall in the hall’ sale. SEI is deeply grateful
for all these thoughtful and most generous donations.
