Greetings from Mindil beach , Darwin , at sunset .
Well , I made it , and am now contemplating my return journey . I would like to go through the centre of Australia and have a look at some desert scenery .
You have all been very supportive of my ride and I am much obliged to you . We easily surpassed the target of $ 5 , 000 and , when our Treasurer has waved his magic wand over the accounts , I will let you know the final amount raised .
Some of you have already transferred money either to me or straight to the church , but for those who have been waiting for me to get to Darwin , here are the church ’ s account details :
