Jo & Co. sprouts from sense of necessity and style

Hannah Thompson turned her childhood dreams into a reality when she opened Jo & Co. Boutique in 2016. After graduating from OSU a semester early with a degree in Fashion Merchandising, she was moving into her first location four months later after signing a lease during the Homecoming Walkaround that fall.

Hannah and her mom loved shopping together while she was growing up, but there was definitely an aspect of their shopping trips they didn ' t enjoy. They couldn ' t both shop for clothing and accessories at the same store. Having to go back-andforth from store to store and running between the Women ' s and Junior ' s sections to select wardrobe pieces wasted a lot of time and took the fun out of their shopping adventures. From these experiences Hannah ' s business model for her store was created.
Originally opening a storefront in Pioneer Square, Hannah quickly checked another goal off of her list when she had the opportunity to move her boutique downtown. She loves the hometown feel of being on Main Street and enjoys the community vibes of her current location. The name Jo & C. is a combination of her middle name( of which I ' m a fan as Jo is also my middle name) and CO for company / family. These days Hannah and her mom travel to different markets together and hand-pick every item that Jo & Co. Boutique carries. Their shopping trips have turned into work trips that they both enjoy.
Jo & Co. Boutique caters to moms and daughters, aunts and nieces, and grandmothers of all ages. Whether you are 70 or 27, there is truly something for every age and an accessory for every whim. From shirts and dresses to comfy knit sets and sweaters, Hannah has made the shopping experience fun for everyone. Offering contemporary clothing
options for anyone who walks through her door is top priority for Hannah, especially now that she ' s in her 30s and a mom. Fashion trends are constantly evolving, and she wants her store to always reflect that.
Hannah still loves to give back to the Fashion Design and Merchandising Department by being a judge at their annual year-end Euphoria fashion show. She also donates clothing items to be upcycled for fashion events.
Whether you ' re looking for a new wardrobe or a girls night outfit, Hannah can curate a fresh new look for you. She ' s available at her store if you ' re wanting a personal stylist to help select new pieces for summer or if you simply want to accessorize your current look. Jo & Co.. Boutique is
SwOk located in the heart of downtown at 707 S. Main in Stillwater.
