When you think about your favorite brunch spot , it probably isn ' t a Mexican restaurant . Nor is your go-to coffee shop that same Mexican restaurant .
Well all of that is about to change because Cafe Mona is upgrading its already impressive brunch and coffee menus just in time for spring . My first experiences with Cafe Mona were because of their unique coffee bar , so I ' m excited that they are expanding it .
Cafe Mona is a local family-owned and operated restaurant in Rosewood Hills Shopping Center at 211 N . Perkins Rd . First opening their doors in
Stillwater at the height of the 2020 pandemic , restrictions and lockdowns , the Guetierrez family was able to navigate through this setback by restructuring their business model by offering to-go orders and utilizing companies like DoorDash . Despite the uncertainty , they quickly outgrew their space and relocated the restaurant across the parking lot to a much bigger one .
Cafe Mona originally opened as a tiny cafe in 2013 that was situated within a library conveniently located next to Devon Tower in Oklahoma City . Living in Stillwater and commuting back and forth to run the business was a deciding factor in relocating it to Stillwater . Although
