Southern Wilde
Find a new outfit while sipping on a sweet treat
Another local business that offers the fun drink is Southern Wilde , a boutique at 713 S Main St . DeAnn McKeever started Southern Wilde in 2022 with moms in mind . She had a passion for fashion , but was tired of seeing crop tops as the only option . She started her store online , and it quickly blossomed into a well-known boutique .
“ I wanted to create a space where moms could count on finding trendy yet modest clothing that actually fit their lifestyle . When we opened our brickand-mortar store in 2023 , we brought that same mission to life , curating styles that are fashionable , high-quality and wearable for everyday life ,” she said .
McKeever didn ’ t stop at fashionable clothes . She wanted to incorporate a piece of her hometown into the fun shopping experience .
“ Southern Wilde is truly a mix of everything I love and the soda bar is no exception . It was inspired by my hometown of Shamrock , TX , where some of my best memories were made ‘ dragging main ’ with friends and stopping at Hasty ’ s for a coke ,” she said .
Southern Wilde offers a variety of dirty soda flavors guaranteed to pique your interest . Prices range from $ 3.00 to $ 4.50 .
• Chocolate Dipped Strawberry : tastes exactly like the name !
• Jolly Parton : created by McKeever ’ s husband , Mike , and loaded with peach , strawberry and cherry flavors .
• Tiki Kiki : infused with coconut , cream and lime for a tropical twist .
• Build Your Own : customizable to fit the customer ’ s tastebuds .
McKeever said she wants her customers to always feel at home while visiting her boutique and she ’ s thankful for the community support .
“ Watching this boutique grow from an online store into a brick-and-mortar location has been a dream , and none of it would be possible without our
amazing customers ,” she said . “ Whether you stop by for a new outfit , a soda or just to hang out , we ’ re always happy to see you !” McKeever said she wants her customers to always feel at home while visiting her boutique and she ’ s thankful for the community support .
