SINCLAIR ’ S LIFE MEANS THAT SHE NEVER STOPS GROWING AND LEARNING , SHE SAID , AND SHE HAS NO PLANS OF SLOWING DOWN OR STOPPING HOW COSMETOLOGY AND BARBERING ARE SHAPED IN OKLAHOMA .
25 employees , which is unusual for a small business . There are two managers and she said the actual running of the business means “ having a good team – it definitely takes a village to run this .”
Sinclair ’ s life means that she never stops growing and learning , she said , and she has no plans of slowing down or stopping how cosmetology and barbering are shaped in Oklahoma .
“ Being on the State Board , I ’ m one of the liaisons , and now I go to the Capitol – that ’ s future progress for keeping us licensed and working for the whole industry as a whole ,” she said .
She has no intention of selling Hello Gorgeous , either the salon or the school .
“ My heart ’ s into them and they ’ re not for sale . I ’ ve worked too hard on that ,” she said .

The seventh-year anniversary at the Hello Gorgeous Barber School with students .
This June the barber school will have a ribbon cutting and Sinclair has added 2,600 square feet to the facility . During that time , the school will celebrate its 100th graduate and have an alumni back for a special event .
Her best advice on starting a business in Stillwater and becoming a strong entrepreneur is to just do it , and “ to be consistent and know that you will make mistakes and that you will learn from every single mistake .”
She said she keeps everything going not only in working with strong , motivated and talented people , but also with the support of her family .
“ They ’ re my backbone to get through all this – although I did start all this by myself – it just always was my goal . I was a 24-year-old single parent and went to work for myself – I jumped in – it was my goal early on and I jumped in headfirst .”
