style
well to make sure it’s not one that
will easily shrink if laundered,
especially for a child’s bedroom.
The construction – look
at the seams. Are they neat?
Finished? Are the buttons sewed
on well or are they loose and
tenuous. If there is a zipper, is it
located where it would be easy to
operate?
The fit – make sure if you
are not buying the duvet and
cover as a set, make sure it is
the right size for your comforter.
Make sure its not too tight or too
baggy. You don’t want the comforter being sloppy in the cover,
but you also don’t want it to be
too tight so that it’s a pain to put
on and off.
So think about your bedding,
and if you think a duvet cover
might be right for you, check
with your local fine linen merchant to find the style that you
like!
