style well to make sure it’s not one that will easily shrink if laundered, especially for a child’s bedroom. The construction – look at the seams. Are they neat? Finished? Are the buttons sewed on well or are they loose and tenuous. If there is a zipper, is it located where it would be easy to operate? The fit – make sure if you are not buying the duvet and cover as a set, make sure it is the right size for your comforter. Make sure its not too tight or too baggy. You don’t want the comforter being sloppy in the cover, but you also don’t want it to be too tight so that it’s a pain to put on and off.
