I became a parent at a young age. Now that my youngest son is in college, I am focusing on the next phase in my life. I have adopted a "why not" philosophy, meaning that if it is not going to cause harm to me, anyone or anything else , I will be open to it. My "why not" philosophy and the desire to "live" life, not 'walk beside it " as Cloris Leachman says, has helped nurture my adventurous, freespirited soul. I have traveled a little, including flying to Tanzania and hiking Mt. Kilimanjaro, jumped out of a plane (once and tandem of course), did a couple of zip lines, crashed into some trees in a hot air balloon, and spent a beautiful day on a sailboat. I tried scuba diving, but it is not for me. And I can't drive over big bridges without having a panic attack. This makes me laugh, except when I am on a bridge! It is the "why not" mentality that led me to Steampunk Chuck. I was drawn to his images by his use of lighting and the way his style embraced the woman as a whole being; the feminine in the soft fabrics and lighting, and the masculine in the use of leather and metals. The strong poses exude confidence and sexuality without compromising integrity. It reminded me of the female characters from movies like Mad Max. They were so strong AND sexy. At 42, I have learned that the yin and yang of life has made me the person I am. I am that strong and sexy woman! I am a feminine, loving, vulnerable, creative woman embracing my blessings and living with passion and gratitude. Renaissance Queen 23
