STARVED
•
Post scriptures about your identity in Christ on
all your mirrors; read them aloud every time you
look in the mirror.
•
Journal your thoughts and emotions daily, especially
after meals.
•
Identify your ungodly beliefs, and replace them
with God's truth; write out the truth, and read it
aloud until you believe it.
The Temple
Your body is the temple of God (1 Corinthians
6:19-20)
and needs to be treated as such. Learning how to eat balanced
portions is important, but the choices you make and the foods
you eat are equally important. In our modern world, what is
called "food" can be filled with preservatives and chemicals
that can cause as much long-term damage as the effects of an
eating disorder, so seek out nutritional advice from someone
who understands the need to eat nutritionally sound food.
The
Great Physician's Rx for Women's Health by Jordan and Nicki
Rubin is an excellent nutritional resource. The authors provide
a better understanding
of these principles and empower you
to make healthy choices to reclaim your body as the temple of
God. For additional information, visit their web site at www.
