CAMERON WALLER Fruits and Vegetables Power the World The purpose of my experiment was to find out what fruits and vegetables have the most power. I hypothesized that a potato will have the most power and an onion will not have a lot of power but they would all at least power the clock. ! To conduct my experiment I needed the following material: volts meter, potato, onion, tomato, lemon and a potato clock. Once I had my materials, I started making a graph that showed how much power they all had. ! The independent variable was the fruits and vegetables. The dependent variable is how much energy they produced. The constants/controlled variable was the potato clock. ! In the end my results did not match my hypothesis because I thought the lemon would do good and it did. I was right about the onion because it did bad. I learned that a potato and a lemon are good to be used as a source of energy.
