Congratulations from the 2019 World Teachers Celebration Evening
On Friday October 25th, The Teachers’ Guild of New South Wales
held its 2019 World Teachers Celebration at the beautiful venue
of the Concord Golf Club.
The World Teachers Day is an opportunity to publicly
acknowledge the work of all teachers. These Awards recognise
the outstanding professional contribution to education made
by teachers. On this important occasion we celebrate and
acknowledge the achievements of our teachers in an increasingly
complex, multicultural and technological society.
The Teachers’ Guild of New South Wales greatly admires
the commitment of teachers in enhancing their professional
knowledge, improving teaching practice, engaging with their
students, and in their ongoing relationships with the wider
community.
On behalf of the Teachers' Guild of New South Wales, I would like
to congratulate your contribution to an informed and cohesive
society, and wish you every success and fulfilment for the future.
This year, 210 guests gathered to celebrate the presentation of
this year’s awards presented by our special guest Hon Sarah
