What is SEED?
SEED is a free online resource that allows anyone to access
environmental data for education or research purposes.
The portal brings together over 2,500 environmental datasets currently
held by NSW government entities related to water, land, air, vegetation
and threatened species.
NSW Koala Habitat Information Base: This
is a state-wide Koala Habitat Information Base
(KHIB) that has been developed as part of the
NSW Koala Strategy. These datasets deliver the
best available state-wide spatial data on koala
habitat, likelihood, koala preferred trees and
koala sightings for NSW. Click [here] to view

Data available within the portal are from a wide variety of sources

The data are made available via a federated information platform
Urban Heat and Green Cover: These
datasets show urban vegetation cover, land
surface temperatures and areas of heat
vulnerability across the Sydney Greater
