lashes was a big thing at some point of 2016, I honestly wasn't into it though, for my clients or for me, unless I was doing something fun and colorful!

S&S: I 100% agree with you! The rainbow highlighter and things like that were awesome but, when it came to somebody turning themselves into Angelina Jolie with contouring, I drew the line. Do you have any hopes for the beauty trends of 2017?

SM: My hope for the 2017 beauty trend is that us beauty people don't do anything horrendous! I joke! I hope there is some fun things! I'd really love to see maybe some weird colors as far as shadows or even lips go, and maybe even some new tips and tricks that could help everyone!

S&S: Yeah! It'll be interesting seeing what 2017 brings as far as makeup and beauty. As a makeup artist is there a certain group that usually comes to you for makeup? (Millenials, Brides, Teens, etc.)

SM: As far as groups go I get a good mixture of all. It depends what time of year honestly. Right now, it's mainly teens and bride-to-be's as everyone's getting engaged and preparing for Prom and dances and Valentine's Day!

S&S: That makes sense. My next question for you is which celebritry do you thinki is the worst and which one do you think is the best?

SM: Ooo, that's a hard one! I can't stand Kat Von D, her personality is just disgusting to me, she's harsh and rude. She has great makeup though! I've always been a fan of Miley Cyrus! Everything about her is awesome!

S&S: I agree with you on the Kat Von D, but I personally don't like Miley's actions but her music is great!

SM: I agree with that! Her actions are iffy sometimes.

S&S: Is there anything you don't like about being a makeup artist?

SM: The one thing I'd say I don't like is the competition. You have to have thick skin because you never know when someone will try and steal your clients. You can't let it get to you.
