The Cedar LNG Project is a proposed floating liquefied natural gas ( FLNG ) facility in Kitimat , British Columbia , Canada , within the traditional territory of the Haisla Nation . The project is strategically positioned to leverage Canada ’ s abundant natural gas supply and BC ’ s growing liquefied natural gas ( LNG ) infrastructure to produce industryleading low-carbon Canadian LNG for new overseas markets .
