Shri Deepak Gupta joins as Chairman & MD of GAIL

Shri Deepak Gupta has been appointed as Chairman and Managing Director of GAIL( India) Limited. Gupta has over 35 years of experience across the oil & gas value chain with a comprehensive blend of technical, strategic and board level leadership. His expertise spans Project & Construction Management, Contracts & Global Procurement, Technology Selection,
Business Development, Operations & Maintenance. Deepak Gupta joined GAIL as Director( Projects) in February 2022. Earlier, he was employed as a Board member of GAIL JVs viz. Chairman of Talcher Fertilizers Ltd., Director-ONGC Petroadditions Limited( OPaL) & South-East Asia Gas Pipeline Company Limited( SEAGP) and former Chairman of Green Gas Limited and Maharashtra Natural Gas Limited. He has played a pivotal role in strategic goal setting, stakeholder alignment, corporate governance, future-ready business planning.
IOGP appoints Ed Connelly to its Board of Directors
The International Association of Oil & Gas Producers( IOGP) has appointed Ed Connelly, Chief Technology Officer and Vice President, Global Technical Functions at ConocoPhillips, to its Board of Directors. Since joining ConocoPhillips in 2006, he has held production, engineering, operations, and senior leadership roles

across Calgary, Brisbane, Houston, and Alaska. Ed currently leads the Production, Wells, Subsurface, Exploration, Projects, Marine, Aviation, and Supply Chain functions. Prior to this, he held project and operational leadership positions with junior and intermediate oil and gas companies in Calgary.

Chevron Corporation has announced several senior leadership changes. Frank Mount, President, Corporate Business Development, will retire from Chevron in November 2026. Jake Spiering, currently Director of Investor Relations, will assume the role of President, Corporate Business Development, in August 2026. Jeanine Wai will become Director of Investor Relations, effective April 2026. Patricia Leigh, President of Supply & Trading, will retire from Chevron in July 2026. Molly Laegeler, currently Chief Strategy Officer, will succeed Leigh, effective March 2026. Kevin Lyon, currently Hess Integration Leader, will succeed Laegeler as Chief Strategy Officer, effective March 2026. Bruce Niemeyer, President of Shale & Tight, will retire from Chevron in October 2026. Gerbert Schoonman, currently Senior Executive Advisor for Hess Integration, will succeed Niemeyer, effective April 2026.
