Strategic vision for the future
At the first ordinary general assembly , Abdulvahap Arslan Küçükemre was elected as the Chairman of PASID ’ s Board of Directors . President Küçükemre said the following in his speech here : “ By representing the stainless steel industry in the national and international arena , we will continuously work on its advancement . Our primary goal will be to bring the stainless steel industry to the level of developed countries and to provide it with a structure that can keep up with the new trends emerging in the world in every way . Representation power is very important for the growth and development of the sector .” “ Our industry will continue its activities by capturing a strong synergy with manufacturers under the leadership of PASID . As an association , we will carry out our activities without slowing down in order to move our industry forward and stand out among international competition . We will solve the problems in the sector and develop policies that will enable our companies to achieve their goals .” President Küçükemre underlined that the association will create a structure that will encourage members to ensure the competitiveness of the stainless steel sector in the national and international arena . “ Our goal as an association is to represent and communicate with Europe and other regions all over the world in the sectoral sense . We care about the necessity of acting together for the progression of the vision for the sector , which is also included in our founding declaration .” PASID underlined that , with the establishment of the association , the stainless steel industry will be able to act faster and more completely in the adoption and implementation of

technological innovations . The statement said , “ It is among our goals to encourage the necessary mentoring and cooperation networks to ensure that our members are in a good position in the global market .”

Board about the sector as follows : “ In its founding declaration , PASID emphasized its purpose as ensuring the development of the manufacturers in the sector and all components that get produced in the stainless industry and supporting its advancement . Our association aims to bring together companies from all over our country operating in our sector , to bring all the components of the sector together on a common ground , and to find common solutions to the problems that currently exist or may occur in our sector .” With the determination of PASID management , it was stated that the “ memory of the sector will be recorded ” in the medium term . In this project , PASID will regularly deliver to its members documents that include all the developments in the sector from the past to the present and the narratives of the doyen names who have played a role in this process and left their mark . In addition , a history of the sector will be created with “ memory documentaries ” for those who have contributed to the development of the sector . One of the most important goals of the association is to create a competitive sector by organizing information and training seminars among its members . In the founding declaration , it was stated that “ Working in accordance with the European Union and Turkish legislation , prioritizing customer expectations , complying with quality and occupational safety rules , ensuring production activities and sector standards , creating cooperation projects among our members , increasing the competitiveness of the stainless steel sector will be among our primary goals .”
