The Quilters of St. Thomas More Host a Baby Shower
OUTREACH
The St. Thomas More Quilters are collecting supplies for Our Mother's House and Catholic
Charities in Arcadia.
Items needed by Our Mother's House:
diapers size 5 & 6
children's clothing size 6 months to 3 years
cleaning and laundry supplies
baby wash
Lysol wipes
children's thermometers
dish detergent
Catholic Charities in Arcadia needs:
baby and children's items
disposable diapers
clothing
Place your donations in the designated baskets in the church or in the Chelsea Center. Please
consider adding a note of encouragement to a young mother. The Quilters will hold a baby
shower in mid-April to present the items collected to Our Mother’s House and Catholic Charities
representatives.
Helping Hands (formerly Meal Train +)
This special ministry is available to parishioners who:
• may be returning to an empty home after surgery and need a meal
• are expecting family in town for a funeral and are unable to feed everyone
• are unable to repair a handrail or trim the shrubs because of a handicap or disability

AA & N-A Meetings
• Alcoholics Anonymous at 5:30 pm Mondays, Chelsea Center, Garden Room. A sober living
group with an open-meeting format consisting of a reading and discussion of the Alcoholics
Anonymous Big Book.
• Al-Anon at 7:00 pm Mondays, Chelsea Center, Garden Room. Family groups are made up of
relatives and friends of alcoholics who meet for fellowship and share experiences with strength
and hope in order to solve common problems.
• Alcoholics Anonymous at 6:00 pm Wednesdays, Chelsea Center, Lancaster Room. The focus
is prayer and meditation, as proposed in the eleventh step of Alcoholics Anonymous.
