Vestry notes The Vestry meeting took place on Tuesday 3 April 2018 .
There was a lengthy discussion regarding the vacancy for a Property Convenor and that in the majority of building matters it is the Priest who has had to process the issues , for example the recent broken windows and the outcome action to be taken from that .
We do have operational security lights around the outside of the church .
Grateful thanks to John and Giovanna for being good neighbours and looking out for the church . Thank you to Carol-Anne and Matthew for ensuring the church is kept clean .
All were reminded about their personal safety as well as “ safeguarding ” and should not be alone in the premises .
The community projects are going well - Feeding Station and Yoga . Recent outreach distribution to all the shops in area of Easter eggs , a card and leaflets for “ the Real Easter ”, and thanked for their service to the community .
Vestry meeting continued with update from - Treasurer , PVG Officer , People ’ s and Priest ’ s Warden .
Letter to be sent to the gardener as the grounds are showing signs of Spring .
Ascension Day - Joint Service at St Oswald ’ s Kings Park , ( 7:30 pm Thursday 10 / 05 / 18 ). The Vestry will provide cakes , tea & coffee .
Diocesan Synod ( rescheduled ), Kilmarnock , Sat 12 / 5 / 18 . Thanks to Emily who minuted the meeting in the absence of the secretary .
