Vestry Report The Rectors Warden led the meeting of 2 April 2017 in prayer. The minutes of March 2017 and accompanying papers were sent to Vestry members. Meeting agreed the minutes. The usual reports were made to the meeting, finance and secretary as well as children’s ministry, PVG Vulnerable Groups and property. Good news had been received that Rev Lesley-ann would be returning to work on Palm Sunday. Thank you to Rev Sally Gorton and all the Priests who have visited St Oswald’s over the past few months. The Sunday School children will be in Church on Easter Sunday and suitable unaccompanied hymns will need to be chosen as there is no organist on the day. The Easter preparations were in place with the children creating an indoor Easter garden, the exterior Cross would be decorated and a cross of flowers (daffodils) planted into the front lawn on the banking. There will also be eggs for distribution to the entire congregation.
