St. Margaret’s News November 2019 St Margaret’s Uniting Church Hackett is an inclusive, welcoming and caring Christian community which highly values engagement with the wider inner north community of Canberra. The St Margaret’s AGM was held following morning worship on 3 Novem- ber. It was well attended and a good discussion was held about the desira- ble best arrangements that should be put in place after Chris Lockley retires at the end of 2020. Discussion included some talk about the possibilities for mission programs by St Margaret’s and the other inner north Uniting Churches. Whilst no decisions can yet be made the comments made by members of the congregation provided most useful input to the process that Church Council will continue to follow through. All members of the Congregation are encouraged to share their thoughts with Council members - John Goss, Anne & Denis Wilkes, Alf & Shirley Larson, Margaret Hunt, John Bell, Lynda Dyer, Robyn Swadling and Brian Rope.
