Super Excited Jacqueline Bradley announced on her Instagram feed last week that she was super excited to have been named as a finalist in the Hutchins Australian Contemporary Art Prize. She was the only ACT artist in the list of finalists. Jacqueline is yet another person with connections to St Margaret’s to be making waves in the art world. The Hutchins Australian Contemporary Art Prize is an acclaimed biennial national award dedicated to supporting excellence and innovation in contempo- rary art practice. The competition is open to Australian artists at any career stage, and aims to celebrate and encourage the diverse modes of expression representative of contemporary art practice. There are no theme, genre, substrate or subject matter preconditions. The competition is open to many modes of creative art practice across traditional and contemporary genres.
