Community Garden Fundraiser
Queanbeyan Uniting Church ' s Community Garden Fundraiser 4 March
This event is being held to further the aim of renovating and nurturing church gardens in order to attract, inspire and nurture the local community. Over the past 18 months, the group has planted productive trees; grown food and donated hundreds of kilograms of fresh produce to the needy; provided opportunities for others to experience gardening; hosted educational activities and fellowship experiences. The way forward is to increase pedestrian access and provide contemplative respite in a natural setting.
Join the team for a fun evening of delicious local food and live entertainment featuring:
� bush poetry with Laurie McDonald
� live music with funky 5-piece band ' Good Question '
� raffle of garden-related prizes
All in a comfortable indoor setting in the Old Hall overflowing with plants, produce and flowers.
All proceeds from the dinner and raffle will be used towards laying a new path and establishing seating in the garden on QUC church grounds. All donations will be gratefully received.
