LETTER FROM THE SUPERINTENDENT
St. Johns Members,
We have successfully completed our second aerification of the summer and recovery
went extremely well. This winter and fall, we will do one to two venting aerifications. I
will have more to come regarding this soon.
Our focus going forward will be on getting the course ready for the winter months. We
are getting ready to apply our first pre-emergent application of two. This will help to
stop the onset of winter weeds. A granular bulk fertilizer application will also be applied
to the entire golf course as well.
Upcoming and Continuing Projects:
• Repair some broken cart paths primarily, on holes number 2 and 7.
• Remove the collar damn on number 15 green just as we did on 4 and 18.
• Continue with our summer weed programs until we see cooler weather.
