LETTER FROM FOOD & BEVERAGE
St. Johns Members,
I wanted to thank everyone for the compliments on the food and beverage for the
Member-Member Tournament, we felt it was a great success. A lot of guests were asking
about the recipes used for the lemonade cocktail we served during registration. It was a
Vodka Lemonade infused with Cucumber and Sage. Below is the recipe:
Making the Lemonade
• Take a 2qt pitcher (64 oz) fill with 2 Cups Sugar, 8 Cups Water, 1 1/2 cups of lemon
juice (or fill with Country Time Lemonade)
• Add a sliced up a cucumber to the lemonade (1/4 inch slices)
• Remove the leaves off 3 sprigs of Sage and add to lemonade
• Let lemonade sit refrigerated over night
Making the Cocktail
• Take 12oz glass fill ice
• Add 1 1/4 of Kettle One Vodka or Cucumber Vodka
• Fill remainder of glass with infused lemonade
• Garnish with a lemon wheel
