It’s officially been one year since I began as your Head Golf Professional and I am so
fortunate to be a part of St. Johns Golf and Country Club. This has been one of the greatest
experiences I’ve had in the industry. I continue to learn everyday about this club’s great
prestige and intend on continuing its legacy as the best golf club in all Northeast Florida!
With the crazy amount of people coming and going, it can be tough to keep track of who is
doing what and where they are going. I truly feel that we are close to being exactly where I
think we should be as a golf course and membership and look forward to the BIG changes
we have in store for you!
With the development of our Advisory Committee, we will work hard to make sure new
information is being communicated effectively. We will work hard to create newer and even
better events than the years before. We will continue to build St. Johns into an incredible,
making you the envy of your friends and family!
Thank you to all who have made being your Golf Professional a great experience for me.
In other news, I’d like to introduce Brad Calkins! Brad is our new 1st Assistant Golf
Professional, originally from the Northeast where he graduated from State University of
New York at Delhi. He received his PGA membership in 2013 and continued his path as a
professional at facilities like the Amelia Island Club, TPC Boston & TPC Sawgrass. Brad has
a passion for creating a memorable golf experience for our members and guests and is
looking forward to growing with the St. Johns family. Please stop by and say hello to Brad
when you can!
