LETTER FROM THE GENERAL MANAGER
St. Johns Members,
First, thank you all for your continued membership at St. Johns Golf & Country Club. In
the past several weeks we have seen an increase in new members and member rounds at
the course. It is wonderful to see our members enjoying the course and, shortly, our new
Clubhouse.
In July, we expect to unveil the completed interior and patio. Each step of construction is
being completed daily and final detail work has begun. As we re-open our facilities, service
will adhere to all state and federal mandates. Details will be communicated as we approach
our opening date.
Last month our Executive Chef, Eric Fritsche, decided to relocate to the Gulf. It was a
difficult decision for him, and Eric was instrumental in helping develop new concepts and
expectations for our Food and Beverage department. Through June, we completed an
extensive search and are excited to announce Alexander Sapp as our new Executive Chef.
Alexander is a Certified Executive Chef and will be transitioning from the Chattahoochee
River Club where he served in the same role for the last 15 years. We look forward to him
joining the team later in July.
Good luck to both the women’s and men’s teams as they challenge South Hampton in a
Solheim/Ryder Cup style event this month. Unfortunately, we were not able to compete in
our annual 210 Cup this year but look forward to this great event. I cannot wait to watch
our teams win this inaugural event!
