A Community of Faith
March began with Ash
Wednesday Mass, celebrated
by Bishop Noonan. This
marked the beginning of the
Season of Lent. It is a season
of penance and reflection,
which prepares us for Christ's
Resurrection on Easter Sunday, through which we attain
redemption.

SJCS students are preparing
to present the Stations of the
Cross. Third graders will sing
and Fourth graders will act.
Our School is also participating in a Lenten Donation
Drive for our Sister Diocese
from Dominican Republic.

Congratulations! SJCS Odyssey of the Mind Team
tied for 1st Place in the Magic Region Odyssey of
the Mind competition. We are 1 of 2 teams selected (out of 17 teams) to move on to the State competition on April 12 at UCF! Team members: Colleen R., Ben G., Cole M., Gretchen M. and Beatrice
