DIY PHONE HOLDER AND CHARGING STATION
By Cecilia Carapella
Up-cycling is important. We need to be good stewards of the world God has given us. So let’s reuse what we
can and make it practical and fun! Today we are making a pretty and useful phone holder and charging station.
What you need:
Toilet paper roll (no toilet paper on it), 4 tacks (colorful optional), Washi tape (optional), Paint or spray paint
(optional), Stickers (optional), Scissors
How to do it:
Take your clean toilet paper roll and measure the size of the bottom of your phone. Cut out the inside of the box
you just created. Now cut out a hole in the back that fits your charger. Now it’s time to decorate!!! Put your tacks in
the bottom. When you are done put your phone and charger in it.

BOOK REVIEW: SECRETS AT SEA
By Maureen Hannon
Secrets at Sea, by Richard Peck, is definitely a must read. This lovely book is about a family of
mice who struggle to make a living in the world. Eventually they have to cross the ocean on a boat
filled with humans, and, as you can expect, things go hilariously wrong. I know what you are
thinking. Not an attention grabber. But actually, once you start reading you just can't stop. When I
started reading it, the book just grabbed me by my hands and yanked me in. I thoroughly hope you
enjoy reading this book. Richard Peck is a terrific author, and Secrets at Sea is one of his best
