April 2021 Webinars Hit Record High

Since the launch of our free webinar programme ( May 2020 ) organised in partnership with AURPO , we have always had good attendance but this month we hit a new record with an amazing 667 people registered to attend the Radiological Risk Assessment session . Nearly 50 % were non members so the webinars are also proving a great way to reach a wider audience . Big thanks to Mark Bradley ( STFC ) for presenting the webinar . See page 10 for a full list – all viewable for free on our YouTube channel .

June 2021 SRP Launches New Magazine
The very first issue of Radiation Protection Today made its appearance . It ' s the first new publication from SRP since the much respected and peer-reviewed Journal of Radiological Protection over 40 years ago . We knew from member feedback that there was a need for a publication aimed more at practitioners and our vision is to produce a magazine which is interesting , informative and topical and which reflects the diversity and interests of the radiation protection community .
