February 2021 New Poster to mark Women in Science Day

To mark International Day of Women and Girls in Science ( 11 February ) we asked members to nominate a female scientist they admire , whether a historical figure , or someone they know , and we produced a poster with the results to add to our growing list of Resources for Schools and aiming to inspire girls to pursue STEM studies and become scientists themselves . Why not download it and email it to the physics department at your local school ? And of course please share it with family members and any science teachers you know .
We also compiled a list of quotes nominated by some of our female members featured on our Women in Science page .
