Srinivasarangacharya as a mark of respect towards their preceptor. Sri Lakshmipuram Srinivasacharya, saw to it that Sri Kasturi Srinivasarangacharya became the pradhyapaka of Pancharatra Agamashastra at the pathashala. Sri Atmakur Rangacharya, after he took to the Acharya peetam as the 33rd Acharya, appointed Sri Kasturi Srinivasarangacharya as the Srikaryakarta and bestowed him with the administrative responsibilities of the Matham. Having seen his Acharyabhakti, administrative acumen and scholarship, he was bestowed with the title “Vidyavisharada” accompanied with a gold padakam, certificate, sambhavana and khillat. Sriman Kasturi Srinivasarangacharya was not new the environment at the Matham. He hailed from the lineage of the purvashrama dauhitra of Sri Periya Parakala Swamy (21 st pattam) who was hailed as one of the greatest scholars and who was adored and glorified by innumerable Sovereigns including the likes of the Delhi rulers. Sriman Periya Parakala Swamy had secured several endowments to the Matham along with nagari-navapattu etc. Sriman Kasturi Srinivasarangacharya Swamy also belonged to the close inner relative circle (Jnati-s) of Sri Ranganatha Brahmatantra Parakala Swamy (30th pattam) whose scholarship had great acclaim and fame from the shores of Sethu till the peaks of the Himalayas. Swamy was also related to Sri Vageesha Brahmatantra Parakala Swamy (32 nd pattam) and Sri Krishna Brahmatantra Parakala Swamy (31st pattam) famous as Kavisarvabhouma and whose noble efforts had manifested into the grand palatial bhavya-bhavanam to Sri Lakshmi Hayagriva. These associations with the paramparais of the yatishreshtas made it sure that Swamy was well versed in all the sampradayams, anushthanams, kramams, acharanams, written/un-written traditions, rules and regulations. His deserving strengths were the deep experiences acquired during the aadhipatyam of four Acharyas on the peetam that he had blessed to be associated with. Swamy would frequent the Matham right from the times of Sri Ranganatha Brahmatantra Parakala Swamy who was closely related and who was also the Acharya of his father. Later the Acharya peetham was occupied by Sri Krishna Brahmatantra Parakala Swamy and Sri Vageesha Brahmatantra Parakala Swamy in that order. These Acharyas in their purvashramam were in the close family circle of Swamy and as such, his association with the Matham increased further more. This was the time that Swamy familiarized himself with all the anushtanams and sampradayams of the Matham. Srimadabhinava Ranganatha Parakala Swamy (33rd pattam) had very high regard for Swamy and owing to him being his “guruputra”, treated him as his own son as well. The Acharya appointed Swamy as the Srikaryam of the Matham and vested him with all the administrative powers needed for day-to-day functioning. Thus having been associated with the Matham for more than sixty years, all its associated details were as clear to him as the “back-of-one’s-hand” (karatalaamalakam). Swamy was empowerd to take independent decisions in terms of the progress of the Matham and in terms of its administration that helped him streamline all the needed amenities for ensuring sampradaya and siddhanta pracharam. Sriman Kasturi Srinivasarangacharya was blessed to perform bharasamarpanam under Srimadabhinava Ranganatha Brahmatantra Swatantra Parakala Swamy. He was fortunate to master several shastra granthas under his Acharya over many years at the matham. G-38
