YOUNG LAWYER SHOWCASE
Membership in the Young Lawyers Section( YLS) is automatic with licensure in North Dakota for attorneys who are 35 years of age or younger or have practiced law for five years or less. YLS hosts social events across the state, providing networking opportunities for young lawyers. If you are interested in hosting an event in your area, please contact the YLS board at younglawyersnd @ gmail. com. YLS also hosts continuing legal education webinars, which are free for YLS members. All lawyers are encouraged to participate in these webinars to earn CLE credits.
DUSTIN HENNINGS
Dustin Hennings is an associate attorney at Brudvik Law Office, P. C., in the Fargo area. His practice areas include estate planning, real estate, and family law. He earned his bachelor’ s degree from North Dakota State
University in 2021, majoring in criminal justice with a minor in homeland security. He then attended Gonzaga University School of Law in Spokane, Washington, graduating in spring 2025. Hennings was admitted to the North Dakota Bar in September 2025.
During his time at Gonzaga Law, Hennings worked for the Gonzaga Business Innovation Clinic, where he assisted clients from the Spokane community in navigating business formation and maintenance. He also served as a board member of the Gonzaga Law Federalist Society chapter. Hennings returned to North Dakota twice during law school. First, for a summer internship with the Cass County State’ s Attorney’ s Office and, later, for a semester-long externship during his final semester with O’ Keeffe O’ Brien Lyson Attorneys.
In his free time, Hennings enjoys cheering on the Bison and Vikings and can be found at every home Bison tailgate. He also enjoys cooking and spending time with his friends and his wife, Faith.
NOAH ABEL
Noah Abel is an associate at Pringle & Herigstad P. C. in Minot. His areas of focus include real estate transactions and litigation, business formation and planning, estate planning, and family law.
Before going to law school, Abel graduated from Minot State University in 2022 with a bachelor of science degree in business management, earning magna cum laude honors. He pursued his legal education at the University of North Dakota School of Law and earned his juris doctor degree, graduating cum laude in 2025.
Abel was born and raised in Minot and is happy to work in his hometown and be a part of the community. Outside the office, he enjoys spending quality time with family and friends, and learning how to golf. As an avid sports fan, Abel can often be found watching his favorite teams compete or attending local sporting events.
