Quarantine Selfie WITH MIRANDA RICHARDSON 1. Natural Sunlight: The best and brightest time is between 2-5 PM at my place. Find the best window with the least amount of shadows. Usually we'd be posting fun photos of our daily activities, but we've all been cooped up in the house self-quarantining. Now, this shouldn't discourage you from posting photos or letting your social media accounts go dry. You can just use what you have at home! I'm here to teach you how to take the perfect at home selfie! 2. Secure Tripod: My go-to tripod is a laundry basket full of folded towels. Easy to adjust. 3. Timer Test: Stay in reaching distance until the shot is good to go. Set the timer to 10 seconds so there’s plenty of time to repose. 4. Depth vs. Solid Background: Either way stay on Portrait Mode under the Natural Light setting. Shoot facing up or at eye level without flash. 5. Final Touches: Review and edit after giving your eyes a rest. Taking a break gives me a fresh perspective.
