As a cherry on top, your team could compete in public and private leagues, with each league holding an annual cup; this way, you could compete with your friends to see who is the best FPL manager for bragging rights!
Twists and Chips
Finally, a twist in the FPL mechanism are chips: special power-ups that could be activated for a temporary period of time once per season, granting special access to some facilities that would potentially help your team. The five chips are:
The tables( as of March 14th) of an informal league with SLAS students and teachers, including Mr. Nash( at the bottom of the table).
1) Wildcard: the only chip that could be used twice, it allows for unlimited transfers.
2) Free hit: the same as wildcard, but those transfers only last a gameweek. The following gameweek, the original lineup will return, so make sure you know!
3) Triple captain: captains score triple their points, instead of double. 4) Bench boost: bench players earn points, too. 5) Assistant manager: the only chip that would last 3 consecutive gameweeks, it allows
for players to pick an addi- tional“ assistant manager” from all Premier League managers, who will help score more points for the team us- ing a special index.

All in all, FPL serves as a revolutionizing game for football fans – a free-to-play game where fun isn’ t interrupted by microtransaction and money-hungry corporations( hopefully EA listens), a complex yet simple game where there could be countless approaches, which all yields to be the perfect game for football enthusiasts.
Personally for me, FPL became an interesting yet essential part of my life – going to school and talking about FPL transfers( of course, during free time; I do my work too), bantering people for how disastrous their FPL strategy turned out and generally having a good time – it has revolutionized the football gaming experience and my life too.
