After a long wait, the topic of secondary sports day was unexpectedly brought up. The student council decided to request a secondary sports day for the first time in SLAS. Many doubted their proposal, but the school’ s final decision was“ YES”. In the beginning, things proceeded smoothly, and it was scheduled to happen in November. However, all of a sudden, the schedule started to have conflicts. Initially, there was an event called the Family Fall Festival( FFF). Depressingly, due to a typhoon, FFF was delayed to November, and simultaneously, the sports day was delayed to March.
By the time March arrived, most students forgot about the event. On March 7, students arrived at school hoping for a new level of entertainment. On that day, the classes were shortened to 50 minutes. After lunch, students were all outside dressed in their house uniforms. Teamed up by their houses, students got play enjoy different types of sports, including soccer, basketball, and volleyball. At the end of the day, Red Lynx and Black Lions earned the most points, followed by Silver Snow Leopards and White Tigers.

The students appreciated the student council, stating that they were able to feel the diligence of the student council members. Finally, the school is expecting to annually hold secondary sports day. Still, there will be significant modifications since the host will be changed to PE department according to the student council.
