MESSAGE FROM THE PARK BOARD PRESIDENT

Dear friends and neighbors,

Spring is a season of fresh starts, and exciting things are happening at the Glenview Park District.
WILLIAM CASEY
Commissioner since 2003
Families will find plenty to look forward to in the months ahead. Join us for EGGstravaganza at Little Bear Park on April 4, our FREE Earth Day Celebration at Air Station Prairie on April 11, and FREE Fish Release Day at Lake Glenview on April 18. In May, celebrate Mother’ s Day Tea at The Grove on May 9 and Spring on the Farm at Historic Wagner Farm on May 16. These events bring neighbors together, celebrate the season and create lasting memories.
As you plan for summer, now is the time to register for swim lessons at Roosevelt Outdoor Aquatic Center. Our lessons focus on water safety, skill development and building confidence for swimmers of all ages.
Summer camp registration is also underway, and we know registration was frustrating for many families this year. To improve your registration experience, we are moving our system to the cloud. This upgrade will provide:
• More secure transactions to better protect your personal and payment information
• Enhanced features designed to improve how you use the system
• Higher performance and reliability, especially during high-demand registration periods
We appreciate your patience as we make these improvements and remain committed to providing a smooth process for our families.
You may also be selected to participate, as part of a random sample of our residents, in our community-wide Attitudes and Interests Survey. Conducted every three years, this survey provides important feedback that helps guide the Park Board’ s decisions and District priorities. Your input truly shapes our future.
