Golf season is around the corner … time to dust off your clubs ! Golf leagues and lessons for all ages will begin in April , and our golf courses will open for the season once Mother Nature complies . Stay tuned for updates !
And last but not least , I would like to recognize Commissioner Dave Tosh and Kevin Christell . Commissioner Tosh received the Illinois Association of Park District ’ s Distinctive Board Member Development Award in recognition of his nearly eleven years of service , legislative advocacy efforts and attendance at business meetings , trainings and events . IAPD / IPRA and the Glenview Park District also recognized Kevin Christell with their Community Service Award . Kevin is a founding member and President of the Glenview Park Foundation , and serves on the Glenview 4th of July Committee . He is also a past president of the Kiwanis Club of Glenview- Northbrook and a Glenview Chamber of Commerce member .
