Celebrate Earth Day ! Reduce the impact of plastic bags on the environment and decorate your own reusable bag to use all summer long going to our pools , carrying library books , or shopping at the Farmers Market . All supplies provided . One tote bag per participant included .

We ' ll walk along the ponds and explore the inhabitants of the Interpretive Center to learn the difference between these noisy amphibians and what calls the local species make . Discover what they eat , where they live , and how they feel through hands on activities .

Discover the wet and wiggly inhabitants of The Grove ponds . A closer look through a magi-scope , pond-scope , or magnifying glass reveals some unusual surprises ! Come prepared to get a little dirty , maybe a little wet , and meet a lot of amazing creatures .

Learn the difference between turtles and tortoises , what they eat , the secret of their long lives , and what we can do to help them survive and thrive in the wild . Try on a turtle shell for yourself plus make and take home a turtle craft . Children under 12 yrs . of age must be accompanied by an adult . Adults register separately .
