Free ! Restoration Work Days
Su , March 5 , April 16 and May 28 9-11 am
Collect seeds or remove non-native , invasive plants to make way for native wildflowers , grasses and trees . No advance registration necessary — just bring your work gloves if you have them and meet at the Interpretive Center . Email groverestoration @ glenviewparks . org for more information including availability . Work parties may be cancelled if there is inclement weather .

Free ! Historic 1856 Kennicott House Tours
Sundays • 11 am-3 pm
Stroll up to this beautiful Victorian-era home and take a moment to prepare for a journey back in time . As your guide takes you through the home , you begin to feel what life was like in the 19th century for the Kennicott family . The museum home maintains a majority of its original features and displays over 40 of the Kennicott family ’ s original belongings .

Work with and learn from the best group of gardeners in our community ! Share garden information and cultivate friendships all while tending to the Glenview Gardeners ’ longest-running community project , the Kennicott four square garden and the new pollinator garden

This is a national day of outdoor play , designed to connect kids and their families with their local , state and national parks , to create the next generation of park stewards and caretakers . Visit the Interpretive Center and experience some hands-on animal encounters , download our free app and go on a self guided Fairy Quest , or join Grove ' s Natural Resource Manager on a guided Spring Ephemeral Walk at 2 pm .
