ILLINOIS GIRLS LACROSSE
ASSOCIATION (IGLA)
JR. TITAN LACROSSE FOR BOYS
The Glenview Park District has teamed up with Glenbrook
South High School to form the Jr. Titan Lacrosse program!
With instruction and coaching provided by GBS coaches and
players, players will be training with some of the best instruc-
tors on the North Shore!
Players in grades 1-4 participate in an instructional program
consisting of practices and controlled scrimmages only. This
allows players to gain a strong understanding of the funda-
mentals of the sport. Registration includes a T-shirt.
Players in grades 5-8 will join the Illinois Boys Lacrosse Associa-
tion and participate in a combination of practices and games.
Registration includes a jersey and entry fee into the IBLA.
REQUIRED EQUIPMENT
(Hockey equipment may be used): (1) helmet, (2) gloves,
(3) elbow pads, (4) shoulder pads, (5) lacrosse stick, (6) jock-
strap/athletic cup, (7) mouth guard, (8) athletic cleats.
SCHEDULE
Practices take place twice per week on Mondays and Wednesdays
from 6-7 pm. Games for 5-8th graders are played on Saturdays and
Sundays. Game schedule TBD mid to late March. Each team will
have four home games and four road games. Road game loca-
tions may vary depending on opposing teams in assigned division.
Games may be scheduled as doubleheaders if necessary. Game
schedule subject to change based on weather and other factors.
