GIRLS SOFTBALL LEAGUES
Dust off those cleats and get ready for another exciting
spring! The later season starting date means girls can play
in nicer weather.
Location: Roosevelt Park
GRADES 1 & 2
Join softball in a fun and less competitive environment. Girls
are coached by parent volunteers. The first two weeks of the
season will be practices and the final six weeks will follow a
game schedule. Each game will last one hour and will finish be-
fore AYSO games begin. Girls are encouraged to have their own
batting helmet and must have their own softball glove.

GRADES 3-8
Tuesday games are played in the evening and Saturday games
are played in the morning or early afternoon. All leagues
are coached by volunteers. Players should be prepared to
practice once a week at the discretion of the coach. Girls are
encouraged to have their own batting helmet and must have
their own softball glove. Girls in grades 3 and 4 will play in
a combined league with a 10-game season. Girls in grades 5
and 6 will play in a combined league with a 10-game season
followed by a single elimination playoff tournament. Girls in
grades 7 and 8 will also play in a combined league with a
10-game season followed by a single elimination playoff tour-
nament. Depending on enrollment, multiple grade levels may
be combined.

medical reasons.
Note: Once teams are made public players will not be
switched to other teams.
