Boating permits

Center
Please follow these important rules to enjoy your time on the water.
• Kayaks, canoes, paddle and row boats are permitted. (No motorized water craft, sailboats or paddle boards are allowed.)
• Enter and exit the water from the boat launch only.
• Properly fitting life jackets must be worn at all times.
• Children under 13 must be accompanied on the water by an adult, 18 or older.
• Glenview Park District boating permit are required. Permits are available at Park Center.
Permit Fee per boat: $30 Residents/$45 Nonresidents
• Do not feed or disturb wildlife, especially breeding or nesting birds or adult animals with young.
• Boating on Lake Glenview is unsupervised and done at your own risk.
• Additional boating rules and map are posted at the boat launch and online at glenviewparks.org/boating.

Wiggles and Giggles is supervised by Fitness Center management and
allows your children to enjoy interactive play in our fully equipped
childcare room. For your child’s well-being and safety, you must remain
inside Park Center while your child is in Wiggles and Giggles.
RESERVATION & PAYMENT OPTIONS
By phone: Reservations are accepted Monday-Thursday 5 am-10 pm,
Friday 5 am-8 pm, and Saturday and Sunday 7 am-6 pm by calling 847-657-3249.
In person: Reservations are accepted at the Fitness Desk unless the childcare
room is open. If the childcare room is open, then reservations must be made
in the childcare room. Payment is required at the time of reservation and may
be paid with cash, check or MasterCard, Discover or Visa credit card.
Fees: $6 per child/hour
(residents and members);
$7 per child/hour (nonresidents) Punch cards available. We also offer punch cards for payment of child care fees.
Punch cards are available in increments of 25 half hour punches and may be pur-
chased at the fitness desk. Each punch is equivalent to $3 for residents and $3.50
for nonresidents. Childcare punch cards expire 6 months from date of purchase.
Maximum usage:
2 hours per day • Additional user guidelines regarding diaper changing, snacks and other
policies are available in the childcare room or at the Fitness Center desk.
