The Young Lawyers Section ( YLS ) continues to host social events across the state , providing great networking opportunities for young lawyers . All lawyers are encouraged to participate in these webinars to earn continuing legal education credits .

KYLIE SOLLIE
Kylie Sollie is an associate attorney at the Vogel Law Firm in Fargo . Sollie is licensed to practice in both North Dakota and Minnesota , and has experience in a variety of civil litigation practice areas .
Sollie grew up in Fosston , Minn ., and remained in her home state to obtain her undergraduate degree at Concordia College in Moorhead , Minn . She graduated summa cum laude with a degree in biology . She continued her education at the University of North Dakota ( UND ) School of Law , graduating in the top five percent of her law school class . While in law school , Sollie spent her spare time furthering her education and taking advantage of many networking opportunities . She was an associate editor of the “ North Dakota Law Review ,” where she worked with professors and lawyers that focused on high-level state and region legal issues . She gained experience as a legislative extern with the North Dakota Legislative Council during the 67th Legislative Assembly . Sollie also served as magister of the Phi Delta Phi Legal Fraternity , Bruce Inn , and was elected to the Order of the Coif .
Before joining the Vogel Law Firm in Fargo , Sollie interned with North Dakota Workforce Safety and Insurance and the Vogel Law Firm in Bismarck . After graduating from UND , she knew she wanted to return to the Fargo-Moorhead area and begin her career in a growing and diversified community .
In her personal time , Sollie enjoys reading , golfing , skiing , and spending time with friends and family .
MORGAN JACOBS
Morgan Jacobs is an associate attorney with Mackoff Kellogg in Dickinson . Jacobs is licensed in both North Dakota and Wyoming , and her primary practice areas include family law , estate planning , probates , and business law . Prior to joining Mackoff Kellogg , Jacobs worked as a family law attorney in Casper , Wyo ., where she gained experience working on divorce proceedings and child custody matters .
Jacobs was born and raised in Bismarck , where she received her bachelor ’ s degree in social work from the University of Mary in 2017 , graduating magna cum laude . She went on to complete her juris doctor at the University of Wyoming College of Law in 2021 .
While attending law school , Jacobs was awarded the Family and Child Legal Advocacy Most Outstanding Student Award for her work providing pro bono legal services to lowincome individuals in her community . While she enjoyed her time in Wyoming , Jacobs is happy to be returning to her roots in the great state of North Dakota . She currently lives in New England , with her husband and their very spoiled cat . In her personal time , Jacobs enjoys spending time with her friends and family , traveling , or sitting at home with a good book .
