( Class will be held onsite only ) Everything is bigger in Texas and in this BBQ Tex class we are grilling up the favorites under the tent outside the high school . You will get hands on instruction with the chef as we make dishes like orange smoked BBQ shrimp , grilled rib-eye with hickory bacon , grilled corn with chipotle butter and all the fixings like fresh slaw and jalapeno corn bread . We ’ re making a lot to take home and share so don ’ t forget that Tupperware . Due to COVID we will be cooking outside under the tent with social distance . Masks may have to be worn .

In this hands on outdoor cooking class we will be making black bean quesadillas , grilled chicken gremolata , spiced flank steak with a roasted garlic aioli , BBQ chicken & guac pizzas . ( Class will be held onsite only ) Learn the classical way of the outdoor clam boil in this hands on outdoor cooking class under the tent . We will make the class clam boil , chowda , fresh lobsta rolls and more . We ’ re making a lot to take home and share so don ’ t forget that Tupperware . Youth Culinary Institute 2021 Fee : $ 250 - 10 students per class Week 1 June 21st - 25th Youth Culinary Camp ( Grades 5-8 ) Monday-Friday 9 am – 1 pm Instructor : Chef Joshua Ogrodowski ( Chef Josh ) Introductory Culinary Arts : In this fun , hands-on experience-based course , students will explore and strengthen their culinary skills . Under the virtual guidance of experienced and professionally trained chef and certified culinary arts instructor , Chef Josh , students will cook multiple diverse dishes and celebrate their combined skills by taking home food to their families each day . While cooking , students will learn and practice baking , sautéing , pan frying , whisking , folding , stirring , and knife skills , just to name a few . Chef Josh will explain kitchen safety and sanitation , menu development , principles of hospitality , plating , garnishing , and more . If your young chef has a passion for cooking and baking , join us for this unique program ! This experience maybe outside under the tent or inside the culinary arts class room at EHS depending on the COVID Pandemic . Students of all culinary skill levels are accepted but students must follow directions and be safe in the kitchen .
