DEMONSTRATION SERIES at the ENFIELD ANNEX
STEW CHALLENGE ( Thursday ) Enfield Annex – E203 – Jan . 21 Fee $ 55 – 6:00 – 9:00 p . m . Joshua Ogrodowski ( Materials Fee included ) No Surcharge , No Senior Discount ( This class will only be held onsite ) Beef stew is an amazing winter dish with so many rich flavors . In this demonstration class we will explore stew basics and how to make an excellent quality beef stew . The chef will use an instapot and a cast iron dutch oven to make the same recipe and we will see how the taste or texture differs . Participants will be taking basic ingredients and the recipe home to make their own stew . Samples will be provided but participant will have to adhere to social distancing . Due to COVID designated seating will also be reinforced . Masks may have to be worn to attend . This is not a hands-on class due to health restrictions .
CHOCOLATE CONFECTIONS ( Thursday ) Enfield Annex – E203 – Feb . 11 Fee $ 55 – 6:00 – 8:00 p . m . Joshua Ogrodowski ( Materials Fee included ) No Surcharge , No Senior Discount ( Class will be held onsite only ) Chocolate is a South American / African bean made from cocao which is rich in fat and antioxidants . In this demonstration the chef will have a chocolate tasting of different chocolates and the levels of cocao as well as how to work with them in some basic recipes that can be prepared at home like chocolate covered strawberries and chocolate mousse . Participants will be taking basic ingredients and the recipes home to make their own chocolate confections in time for Valentine ’ s Day . Samples will be provided but participant will have to adhere to social distancing . Due to COVID designated seating will also be reinforced . Masks may have to be worn to attend . This is not a hands-on class due to health restrictions .
GLUTEN FREE COOKING ( Thursday ) Enfield Annex – E203 – March 25 Fee $ 55 – 6:00 – 8:00 p . m . Joshua Ogrodowski ( Materials Fee included ) No Surcharge , No Senior Discount ( Class will be held onsite only ) Gluten free food can be difficult to prepare as there are major texture differences with gluten free foods and wheat-based products . In this demonstration class , the chef will prepare a couple gluten free recipes that participants can make at home like flourless chocolate cake and spring rolls . Participants will be taking basic ingredients and the recipes home to make their own tasty gluten free foods . Samples will be provided but participant will have to adhere to social distancing . Due to COVID designated seating will also be reinforced . Masks may have to be worn to attend . This is not a hands-on class due to health restrictions
FRENCH PASTA ( Thursday ) Enfield Annex – E203 – April 22 Fee $ 55 – 6:00 – 8:00 p . m . Joshua Ogrodowski ( Materials Fee included ) No Surcharge , No Senior Discount ( Class will be held onsite only ) Pasta is a universal food item that can be prepared in several creative ways . In this demonstration class , the chef will prepare fresh pasta from scratch using a stand mixer along with a couple easy two pan dishes like carbonara and tortellini . Participants will be taking basic ingredients and the recipes home to make their own tasty past recipes . Samples will be provided but participant will have to adhere to social distancing . Due to COVID designated seating will also be reinforced . Masks may have to be worn to attend . This is not a hands-on class due to health restrictions .
