Casey A . Furey is a partner with Crowley Fleck PLLP , practicing in the firm ’ s Bismarck office . Her legal practice focuses primarily on administrative law and regulatory matters . Furey represents and advises clients on all phases of energy development , including initial project review and due diligence , land use , and local and state permitting for an array of energy projects .
Furey grew up in northern Colorado and attended Colorado State University , Fort Collins , Colo ., where she received bachelor of science degrees in both political science and sociology . She attended law school at the University of North Dakota , where she served as president of the Energy Law Association .
Prior to joining Crowley Fleck , Furey served as a special assistant attorney general for the North Dakota Public Service Commission . She currently sits on the Ethics Committee for the State Bar Association of North Dakota .
Jack Yunker is a partner at Traynor Law Firm , P . C ., in Devils Lake . He is licensed to practice in North Dakota state and federal courts as well as the Turtle Mountain Band of Chippewa Tribal Court and the Spirit Lake Tribal Court . Yunker ’ s practice primarily focuses on insurance defense and family law . He also serves as the city prosecutor for the city of Devils Lake .
Yunker is originally from Grand Forks . He earned a bachelors of business administration degree from the University of Nebraska- Lincoln , Lincoln , Neb . Prior to attending law school , Yunker worked in the private sector in management . He attended law school at the University of North Dakota ( UND ). While attending law school , Yunker enrolled in UND ’ s joint JD / MBA program , where he simultaneously earned his JD and MBA in 2017 .
He resides in the Devils Lake area with his wife and two dogs . He is a board member of the Devils Lake Chamber of Commerce and the Lake Region State College Foundation . In his free time , he enjoys cooking , golfing , fishing , and curling .
