Signing into the Future

Each year at Valley View High School, we honor our college selected student athletes by holding signings to congratulate their future successions. A total of 8 students have committed to an array of colleges, in and out of state, to continue their passion.

Starting with volleyball, two outstanding players agreed to sign with Division 1 Universities. First, Abbigail McGee committed to the University of Arkansas. Breaking from her mother's legacy of her college ball days at Arkansas State. Secondly, Emily Grace Calhoon will be attending and playing for Union University in Jackson, Tennessee.

Valley View's star softball player, Allie Whitlock committed to our home University: Arkansas State.

Gracesyn Craig is also signed with Arkansas State to carry on her passion of cheer.

As for baseball, Valley View had a total of 3 baseball players sign with colleges from the class of 2019. Rush James, Devin Lipford, and Austin Shipman all committed to continue playing together at Lyon college.
