Much to the delight of international schools from Thailand and Nepal, the school organized a stellar sporting spectacle. The event was modified to suit the venue and number of participants and this proved to be the key ingredient in creating a wonderful friendly sporting environment. The competition was still tough and there were many great sporting highlights over the three days of competition including a penalty shoot-out in the boys’ football final and an extra-innings decider in the softball final. St Andrews teams built on their rich sporting legacy and gained CHAMPION status in every sporting event, completing a clean-sweep of success over the opposition to claim five 1st place trophies. With the girls’ team in particular being well-represented, they were separated into two teams for both basketball and football.
