Athletes, Builders, Teams Set to be
Inducted into Football Hall of fame

Ian Brown and Blair Schapansky helped build the sport in Manitoba. Tom Coyle and Richard Howden were two of its
finest players. And teams such as the 1955 and 1956 Winnipeg Rods and the 1947-52 Daniel McIntyre Maroons were
among its greatest teams.
On Aug. 4, at the Viscount-Gort Hotel, the Manitoba Football Hall of Fame will induct a new class. The induction
ceremony will feature two builders, two athletes, an official, a coach and three great teams. It will be quite a luncheon.
This is the sixth Induction Ceremony for the Football Hall and tickets for the event are $60.00 and are readily
available until sell out or until July 27. Here are this year’s inductees:
